Joshua Yin

Associate, Litigation Department

Overview

Joshua Yin is an associate in the Litigation practice and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. He focuses on patent litigation and other intellectual property disputes in federal district courts and before the International Trade Commission.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Yin served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps as a felony-level court-martial litigator. While on active duty, he tried 16 federal court-martial trials, which involved felony fraud, drug distribution, conspiracy to steal military munitions, computer crimes, aggravated assault likely to produce death or grievous bodily harm, and serial sexual assault.

Since leaving active duty, Mr. Yin’s civil litigation experience has included over one hundred depositions and multiple jury trials.
