Overview

Emily Stover is an associate in the Employment Law Department of Paul Hastings. Her practice focuses on litigation and counseling on a wide range of employment and labor issues. She has experience representing employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour issues.

Ms. Stover’s practice also involves advising and litigating employee mobility and intellectual property matters including trade secret misappropriation, theft of confidential information, breach of contract, and disputes over restrictive covenants in employment-related agreements.

Ms. Stover earned her J.D. from UC Hastings, cum laude, in 2017. She served as a senior editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, and also competed on the Hastings Trial Team, where she won a National Championship and individual awards. Ms. Stover continues to participate in the Hastings Trial Team program as an alumni coach.

Prior to law school, Ms. Stover taught English as a Second Language and General Education classes to inmates in the Santa Cruz Jail systems. She earned her B.A. in English from Santa Clara University in 2011. Ms. Stover is admitted to practice in California.
