Overview
David Ambler is a partner in the Corporate practice at Paul Hastings, based in the Palo Alto office. He represents startups and early-stage companies through all stages of their growth, including early financing, pre-IPO capital raising, IPOs and beyond. He also advises public companies in their periodic reporting and capital markets and other corporate transactions. He frequently works with leading underwriters like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, as well as top venture funds. His industry experience spans consumer internet, consumer hardware, enterprise software, digital health, AI, cybersecurity and various technology and life sciences sectors.
He has been involved in hundreds of private company financings and over 60 IPOs and other public offerings for companies such as AvidXchange, Corsair, Datto, DocuSign, Enjoy Technologies, Forty Seven, PagerDuty, Ping Identity, Procore, Rubrik, ServiceNow and Unity Software.
Recognized by his peers, he was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2022 and 2023. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he was a partner at another international law firm. He previously worked in the performance automotive industry in both sales and business development.
