Overview

Corinne Lammers is chair of the Compliance & Regulatory Counseling practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Corinne specializes in compliance strategy, including compliance program development and enhancement, risk assessments, and testing and monitoring. Corinne has advised clients regarding compliance matters in diverse industries such as power, robotics, technology, mining, rail transport, petrochemicals, life sciences and aerospace. She has guided multiple clients through compliance presentations to government agencies, including the DOJ and SEC, multilateral financial institutions and other external stakeholders. Corinne is sought out for her innovative and practical approaches to addressing compliance challenges. Chambers USA describes Corinne as a “go-to lawyer for anything compliance related” and notes that “you want her in your corner, testing blind spots and finding solutions together as a partner.”

Corinne also has extensive experience with independent compliance monitorships required by government agencies and multilateral development banks. Along with managing several monitor teams, she has counseled multiple clients undergoing monitorships, helping those clients satisfy monitor recommendations and bringing those monitorships to successful and timely conclusions. Corinne also has supported clients required to enhance their compliance programs and submit periodic self-reports to government agencies. 

Corinne serves on the editorial board of news service Global Investigations Review and is a regular lecturer on compliance topics at conferences and law schools as well as for the International Law Institute. In addition to her years in private practice, Corinne worked as in-house counsel to a major defense contractor, focusing on compliance.
