Overview

Aaron Reuben primarily works on transactional, permitting and litigation matters in the real estate and environmental law fields.

For mergers, acquisitions, investments and divestitures, Aaron counsels on environmental, real estate and related corporate matters.  

As part of his regulatory work, Aaron helps clients navigate land use laws, the California Environmental Quality Act, California Coastal Act, Clean Water Act, hazardous substance laws, the California Public Records Act and the Freedom of Information Act.

Aaron also litigates real estate, land use and environmental law disputes. Aaron has experience in California courts and commercial arbitrations. 

Aaron’s real estate practice includes commercial leasing, data center transactions, acquisitions and dispositions. For real estate developments, Aaron works on construction contracts, joint venture agreements, loan documents and development agreements. Aaron has worked on matters across asset classes, nationally and internationally.

  • Property owners and operators in regulatory matters, including enforcement actions
  • Former property owner in arbitration concerning liabilities arising from a Superfund site
  • Public technology company in connection with expansion into new and existing data centers in England and Sweden
  • Private company named as a defendant in lawsuits alleging exposure to asbestos
  • Insurance providers regarding environmental and permitting matters for representations and warranty insurance policies
