Paul Hastings Representing Seaport Global Acquisition II Corp. in Business Combination with American Battery Materials, Inc.

Paul Hastings LLP represented Seaport Global Acquisition II Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, in the negotiation and execution of a definitive merger agreement with American Battery Materials, Inc., a minerals exploration and development company focused on environmentally friendly direct lithium extraction. Under the agreement, American Battery Materials will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Seaport Global Acquisition II. The newly combined company will be renamed American Battery Materials, Inc., and will be listed on the NASDAQ Global Market. 

Corporate partner Will Burns and of counsel Joseph C. Swanson led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Max Roberts, Danika M. Bark, and Kevin D. DeCeoursty.
