Paul Hastings Represented Caithness Energy in Sale of 845MW Shepherd’s Flat Wind Farm

New York – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, represented Caithness Energy in the recently completed sale of the 845 MW Shepherd’s Flat wind farm to an affiliate of Brookfield Renewable Partners LP.

Caithness Energy is a privately-held Independent Power Producer specializing in the development, acquisition, operation, and management of renewable energy and natural gas development projects. The Shepherd’s Flat wind farm is located in Oregon, and was the second largest wind farm in the U.S. when it came online in 2012. 

Representing Caithness Energy, M&A partner Mike Huang, led the team, which also included, of counsel Jason Hill, and associates Bo Xiang and Regina Mendoza.
