Paul Hastings Advises Morgan Stanley on Equity Residential’s All-Stock Merger of Equals With AvalonBay Communities

Paul Hastings LLP advised Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, serving as lead financial advisor to Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), in connection with Equity Residential’s all-stock merger of equals with AvalonBay Communities (NYSE: AVB), creating a combined company with an expected enterprise value of approximately $69 billion and more than 180,000 rental apartments.
