Paul Hastings LLP advised leading European private equity investor Bregal Unternehmerkapital ("Bregal") on the acquisition of Mibex Software GmbH ("Mibex") by Communardo Group GmbH ("Communardo"), a portfolio company of funds advised by Bregal.

Mibex is an Atlassian Gold Marketplace Partner and is one of the leading providers of specialized applications for Atlassian products. With a portfolio of over 20 applications, Mibex offers innovative solutions geared towards the DevOps platforms Bitbucket, Bamboo and Confluence. Mibex serves more than 2,700 customers worldwide.

Communardo is a leading DACH-focused service provider in Atlassian (Platinum status) and Microsoft modern workplace solutions for upper mid-market and enterprise customers. Communardo provides end-to-end services across four revenue streams: i) professional services, ii) license re-selling, iii) managed services, and iv) own software apps.

Bregal is the largest midcap investor headquartered in the DACH region, with a total of EUR 7 billion in capital raised since its establishment. The funds advised by Bregal invest in medium-sized companies based in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
