Tilray and AB InBev Launch Canadian Research Partnership

New York - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Tilray, Inc., a global pioneer in cannabis production and distribution on the formation of a research partnership with AB InBev, the world’s leading brewer. The partnership is focused on research for non-alcoholic beverages containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), and is limited to Canada.

Tilray’s participation in the partnership will be through its Canadian adult-use cannabis subsidiary, High Park Company, and AB InBev will participate via Labatt Breweries of Canada. Each intends to invest up to $50 million in the partnership, for a total of up to $100 million.
