Paul Hastings Represents Nordstrom in the Acquisition of Trunk Club

Los Angeles, CA- Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm is representing fashion specialty retailer Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) in the acquisition of Trunk Club, a personalized clothing service for men.

The value of the deal was undisclosed. The transaction is subject to closing conditions, including customary regulatory and stockholder approvals, and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2014.

The deal is representative of a trend, in which traditional retailers are capitalizing on businesses that use innovative business models and new technology.

M&A partner David Hernand led the Paul Hastings team, which also included Tax partner Alexander Lee, Employment partner Stephen Harris and associates Stan Kalminsky and Olga Marshall.
