Paul Hastings represents Integrant in US$160million M&A deal

Hong Kong (June 16, 2006) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker (Paul Hastings), a leading international law firm, has successfully represented Integrant Technologies, Inc. (Integrant), a leading supplier of low-power CMOS radio tuners for Digital Multimedia Broadcast (DMB) phones and other mobile TV devices in Korea,  in a sale of Integrant valued at up to US$160 million to Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE Symbol: ADI), a leading global manufacturer of high-performance integrated circuits used in analog and digital signal processing applications with a market capitalization of over $11 billion.

This transaction represents the first ever deal in which a Korean company, after receiving approval for an IPO on Korea's KOSDAQ Market, opted out of the IPO and pursued an M&A transaction. The deal, which was signed on June 7, 2006, is expected to complete within the next two months.

A team of US qualified attorneys from Paul Hastings' M&A Group, led by Jong Han Kim, Neil Torpey, Daniel Kim and Joseph Suh, represented Integrant. Jong Han Kim, partner and head of Paul Hastings' Korea practice, said: "Paul Hastings is delighted to represent Integrant, a global pioneer in developing the CMOS process technology.  Our firm has considerable experience in representing Korean, U.S. and other foreign investors in M&A deals  in Korea. This year, our team has been involved in a number of high profile Korean M&A transactions, including Wal-Mart's sale of its South Korean retail operations. We expect to continue to be a leader in cross-border M&A transactions in Korea."
