Paul Hastings Represents GE Capital in Financing KPS Capital Partners Acquisition of ThyssenKrupp Waupaca through an Affiliate

New York, NY (May 15, 2012) - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented GE Capital Markets as joint lead arranger and sole administrative agent for financing in support of KPS Capital Partners LP's acquisition of ThyssenKrupp Waupaca, Inc., the largest independent iron foundry in the world, from ThyssenKrupp Budd Company through a newly formed company, W Foundry International, Inc.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The closing of the acquisition is expected during the second quarter of 2012.

RBC Capital Markets and Wells Fargo Capital Finance will also act as lead arrangers for the financing of the acquisition.
