Paul Hastings Recognized in 2006 Legal 500 US-Volume 1 and 2006 Legal 500 Asia Pacific Rankings

New York, NY (December 1, 2006) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (Paul Hastings), a leading international firm, is pleased to announce that the newly-published Legal 500 US - Volume I (Corporate and Finance) has named five of the firms' practice areas and 25 of its attorneys among its leading list of corporate and finance lawyers in the United States. In addition, the 2006 Legal 500 Asia Pacific recognized 20 attorneys and 22 practice areas. This marks a significant increase from last year's rankings, which listed five of our attorneys and 12 of our practice areas.

This marks the first year that Legal 500 has covered the United States legal market.
