Paul Hastings Continues Expansion Of International Employment Practice With Addition Of Christopher Walter To London Office

Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (Paul Hastings), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce today that Christopher Walter, previously at Covington & Burling, has joined its London office as of counsel and chair of the firm’s employment law practice in Europe.

"The addition of Chris coupled with the recent arrival of Ray Wann to the London office broadens our ability to serve clients in Europe as well as Asia and the U.S."

Chris has over ten years of experience in leading City employment practices. He has significant experience with both UK and EU collective issues and particularly European Works Councils, in relation to which he has acted as expert adviser for both employers and employee representatives. In his position, Chris will advise Paul Hastings clients on day to day matters of HR policy, practice and strategy in the UK and Europe.  He also will handle employment litigation and commercial HR issues, including the employment and employee benefits implications of business/share acquisitions, re-organizations, down-sizing operations and outsourcing, and data privacy issues in the workplace.
