Paul Hastings Bolsters Global Projects Practice with Renewable Energy Leader Tim Callahan in Chicago

(March 11, 2008) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that Tim Callahan, previously Global Chair of the Wind Energy Practice at Mayer Brown LLP, has joined the firm as a partner in the Global Projects Group, resident in the Chicago office. Mr. Callahan brings over a high profile transactional practice focusing primarily in alternative and renewable energy.

Mr. Callahan has extensive experience representing owners, developers, lenders, utilities, and contractors in all facets of the development, financing, acquisition and disposition of energy and other infrastructure projects. His experience includes electric wind farms, power plants, coal gasification plants, hydroelectric, biomass, bio-diesel, and other renewable facilities, gas pipelines, ethanol plants, oil refineries, and pulp and paper mills. Tim also has experience in privatization and public-private partnership arrangements.
