Paul Hastings Advises Ninetowns Technology on its Going-Private Transaction

Hong Kong/Beijing (June 27, 2014) - Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Ninetowns Internet Technology Group Company Limited (“Ninetowns”), one of China’s leading providers of online solutions for international trade, in connection with its going-private transaction. The transaction values Ninetowns’ equity at approximately US$50 million and was completed on May 30, 2014. 

The Paul Hastings team was led by partners David Wang (Shanghai & Beijing, M&A) and Steven Winegar (Hong Kong, Capital Markets), with support from associates Tim Sung (Hong Kong) and Yingying Chen (Hong Kong). 

Paul Hastings previously represented Ninetowns in its initial public offering and listing on the Nasdaq Market in December 2004, and has advised the company since 2004.
