Paul Hastings Advises Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and RBS in Kosmopolitos US$153 Million Hong Kong IPO and Global Offering

October 11, 2010

Hong Kong (October 11, 2010) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited, Morgan Stanley Asia Limited and The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V., Hong Kong Branch as the Joint Global Coordinators, Bookrunners, Lead Managers and Sponsors, in the approximately US$153 million Hong Kong IPO and global offering of Kosmopolito Hotels International (Kosmopolito), a Hong Kong-based hotel operator. The listing comprised a Hong Kong public offering and a Reg S/Rule 144A international offering.

Vivian Lam, a partner in the capital markets practice at Paul Hastings in Hong Kong, commented: As well as being the first Hong Kong IPO by a hotel company for almost four years, this IPO is particularly unique as Kosmopolito is being spun off by Far East Consortium International, a leading conglomerate in the Asia-Pacific region. We are very pleased to have advised Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and RBS on this important offering.

The Paul Hastings team was led by capital markets partners Vivian Lam, Chris Betts and David Grimm, assisted by associates Catherine Chu, Tracy Yuan, Tim Sung and Matthew Smith.
