Mei Lian and Cathleen McLaughlin Named IFLR 1000 Women Leaders

Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that partners Mei Lian and Cathleen McLaughlin were recognized in the 2020 IFLR 1000 “Women Leaders” guide.

Lian joined the firm’s Finance and Restructuring practice as a partner in May and is based in the London office. She has a broad and extensive practice, representing borrowers, financial institutions, hedge funds and private equity funds on a wide range of financing, special situations, distressed and restructuring transactions.

McLaughlin is a partner in the Corporate Finance practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. She focuses on cross border financing in Latin America. McLaughlin’s U.S. capital markets experience includes varied transactional and advisory securities experience relating to SEC-registered and unregistered (Regulation S and Rule 144A) debt and equity offerings by U.S., Latin American, and European issuers.
