Former AIG Employment Counsel Joins Paul Hastings in New York

New York, New York (March 25, 2010) Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Marc Bernstein has joined the firm as of counsel in the Employment Law practice. He is based in the firms New York office and focuses his practice on employment litigation and advice.

Marc has extensive background in complex employment issues, and his significant in-house experience will lend valuable perspective to the issues our clients face. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Bernstein served as Associate General Counsel of AIG where he headed the companys Labor and Employment Group and was the senior employment lawyer advising management regarding its employment issues. He supervised the companys employment litigation, including complex wage and hour class cases, discrimination lawsuits, and SOX whistleblower cases. He also counseled managers around the world regarding all aspects of employment law including unfair competition issues and large-scale reductions in force.
