Aerkomm Lists on Euronext Paris

July 25, 2019

Paris – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that it advised U.S. company Aerkomm Inc., a development stage service provider of in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions for the airline industry, on the successful admission to listing and trading of its ordinary shares on the Professional Segment of the regulated market of Euronext Paris.

Aerkomm’s shares commenced trading on July 23, 2019, following the approval granted on Aerkomm’s listing prospectus by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF). Aerkomm’s shares are also listed and traded on the OTCQX market in the United States.

This listing is the first of the year on the regulated market of Euronext Paris and the first of a U.S. company since 2015 on this market. The listing process on the professional segment of the regulated market of Euronext Paris notably enables companies listed in the U.S. to use their existing filings with the SEC in a prospectus submitted to the approval of the AMF for a listing on this segment.

The Paul Hastings team was led by partners David Revcolevschi and Etienne Mathey (Paris, Corporate, Capital markets) assisted by associate Béatrice Dang (Paris, Corporate, Capital markets) and partner Michael Zuppone (New York, Capital markets).

Invest Corporate Finance (Marc Grosjean, Claude Breuil, Charlène Imbert), advised and acted as listing agent to Aerkomm’s on the transaction.

At Paul Hastings, our purpose is clear — to help our clients and people navigate new paths to growth. With a strong presence throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the U.S., Paul Hastings is recognized as one of the world’s most innovative global law firms.
