Krafton Debuts in US$3.8 Billion IPO and Listing on the Korea Exchange

Seoul – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that it has advised Krafton Inc., a leading game developer well known for its PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, on its US$3.8 Billion global offering and listing on the Korea Exchange. Credit Suisse, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, Mirae Asset Securities and NH Investment & Securities acted as the joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners.

Krafton’s listing marks the second largest IPO in the history of South Korean capital markets.

Paul Hastings’ leading Korea practice has advised on several landmark capital markets transactions recently, including KakaoBank’s US$2.2 billion Korea IPOSK ie technology’s US$2 billion Korea IPO, Hana Bank’s issuance of US$600 million sustainability notes, Hanwha Systems’ US$345 million Korea IPO, Kakao Corp.’s US$1 billion GDR offering, and ING Life Insurance Korea’s US$977 million IPO.
