Chair of the firm’s Music Industry practice Sid Fohrman spoke with Richard Hsu during a February 24, 2025, segment of the Hsu Untied podcast. During the episode, Sid discussed the path that led him to a career in music and entertainment law, from his guitar playing days at a kid’s summer sports camp to an early career as a litigator in the Midwest to becoming a California transplant at a music startup. He and Richard touched on the evolution of Sid’s practice, which has aligned with changes in the music and entertainment market and industry, from downloads to streaming to new use cases that continue to integrate and rely on music.
