The Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Commerce, the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the heads of other relevant U.S.-agencies, delivered a framework for interagency engagement with their respective foreign counterparts and in international fora as directed in President Biden's Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets (March 9, 2022).
