Overview
Nisa Gosselink-Ulep is a partner in the Compliance & Regulatory Counseling practice of the firm’s Washington, D.C. Office. Nisa has extensive experience advising multinational clients regarding compliance programs, risk assessments, due diligence on third parties, in connection with acquisitions and conducting internal investigations.
Nisa has a particular focus in advising companies related to post-settlement reporting requirements required by regulators. She has significant experience assisting clients with enhancing their compliance programs in preparation for settlement discussions with regulators, along with preparing clients for and guiding clients through post-settlement corporate monitorships or self-reporting obligations. In addition, Nisa has served as a key member of several independent corporate monitor teams.
Nisa counsels clients from a broad range of industries, including technology; defense; life sciences and healthcare; oil and gas; construction and engineering; manufacturing; private equity; real estate; telecommunications; non-profits; agricultural; retail; education; and entertainment, and has traveled throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa on client matters. She also has worked on matters involving export controls, international arbitration, and political risk insurance. As part of her pro bono efforts, Nisa has for several years co-facilitated the International Law Institute’s Governance and Anti-corruption Methods course.
