
Overview
Leonie Koch is an associate in the firm’s Financial Restructuring group and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on representing key stakeholders in complex Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court workouts, financings, liability management exercises, litigation, and distressed mergers and acquisitions, including official committees of unsecured creditors, ad hoc groups of lenders, hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, banks and asset managers. Leonie has served as counsel on some of the largest in-court and out-of-court restructurings and liability management transactions of the past decade across a broad range of industries, including FTX ($20+ billion), Travelport ($4.3+ billion) and Franchise Group ($2.4 billion).
Leonie has an active pro bono practice and is a proud member of the Associate Board of Edible Schoolyard NYC, a nonprofit organization on a mission to make edible education accessible for every child in New York City.
Leonie is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
